| Application Specialist Location: Pittsburgh A full-time, salaried position is available in Pittsburgh for an Application Specialist responsible for programming complex aspects of a system in Java, mentoring junior members of a team and acting as a team lead. Provide guidance for complex activities related to the planning, analysis, architecture, design, programming, implementation, problem resolution and incorporation of new productivity tools and methodologies for projects. The candidate must have a broad understanding if object-oriented analysis and design distributed system architectures and have experience with J2EE concepts. The candidate will have the ability to communicate within the organization, and possess good organizational and time-management skills. The candidate must be able to assist the manager to address issues and concerns, and participate in project planning and the implementation of departmental and division initiatives. The senior Java developer will be expected to follow sound software engineering practices, and will be expected to conduct design and code reviews for his or her team. Qualifications: Proficiency in Java programming, seven years' of software development experience in Java and C++. Experience writing in EJBs, servlets, JSPs and HTML. Familiarity with J2EE concepts, JDBC, XML, JMS, JNI, JTA, data sources, LDAP, SSL, firewalls. Several years' experience with a relational DBMS, Oracle preferred. Two years' experience developing within a Web application server of messaging environment. Should have knowledge of middleware and distributed processing issues and a degree in computer science or related field, graduate degree preferred. Good oral and written communication skills are necessary and experience leading a project or a team of developers.

Senior Application Analyst Location: Pittsburgh Fulltime position in Pittsburgh for a Senior Application Analyst responsible for leading medium to large development and support projects within the financial systems. The candidate will provide project leadership through all phases of the system development lifecycle and will be responsible for completing complex business analysis and problem-solving activities as well as mentoring other Programmer Analysts on staff. Working with business analysts, customers, other system analysts and management, the incumbent will ensure that all activities related to planning, testing, implementation and problem resolution are completed correctly and on schedule. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in information systems or related field is required. Project management experience on small to medium size projects, including detailed project plan development is required. Eight to twelve years' experience in systems analysis, design and development, including business requirement definition, is required. Work experience with People Soft applications is preferred. Proficiency with multiple application programming languages is required. Experience with mainframe and client-server development tools is required. This includes, but not limited to UNIX, SQL, PLSQL, SQR COBOL, and JCL. Experience with Oracle is required. Web development experience is a plus. Experience with ICIS and HFDR is a plus. Senior Systems Consultant Location: Pittsburgh Job responsibilities: This position is responsible for technical analysis and system analysis activities, and programming complex application programs. The incumbent will analyze the technical feasibility of proposed system projects, resolution of complex software problems, development of new productivity tools, methodologies and production support. This position is also responsible for providing expert advice and counsel to other information systems staff concerning software maintenance and development. The incumbent must have a broad knowledge of application systems, programming languages, design methodologies, database management systems, and be knowledgeable in current industry trends and emerging technologies. The incumbent must be able to communicate technical issues to all levels of management and staff. The incumbent must possess good organizational skills and good time-management skills. Technical issues requiring the attention of this position include those that cover broad application systems, interrelated sub-systems and application programming and analysis. This position is also responsible for training and development of programming staff including systems consultants, and providing technical input to ISG policy and direction. Qualifications: The incumbent must have a minimum of two years' experience as a systems consultant 2, or equivalent training and experience which includes expertise in the business environment and applications technology. Incumbent will have an expert understanding of business environment and information systems concepts, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and understand the importance of quality-improvement processes. Incumbent will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with other professionals in the organization and demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new concepts.
Senior Systems Consultant Location: Pittsburgh Job responsibilities: This position is responsible for creating and maintaining the application architecture of the HighBar application. It includes: creating, growing and documenting the reference system architecture and the current detailed application design; addressing issues concerning the architecture such as security, scalability, reliability, transactional integrity and interfacing external systems and databases; supervising performance testing of the application; and being the technical leader of the project. The candidate must have a broad understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, distributed system architectures, have experience with J2EE concepts (EJBs, servlets, JSPs, HTML, JDBC, XML, JMS, JNI), have an understanding of relevant technologies (messaging, Web application servers, message brokers, relational database LDAP, SSL, firewalls). The architect will work closely with other teams at the company to coordinate efforts and incorporate software standards. The architect will assist with programming complex aspects of the HighBar system in Java, mentoring junior members of the team, possibly act as a team lead and providing guidance for complex, technical activities related to the planning, analysis, architecture, design, programming, implementation, problem resolution, and incorporation of mew productivity tools and methodologies for the HighBar project. Systems Consultant Location: Pittsburgh A full-time position is avaiable in Pittsburgh for a Systems Consultant responsible for consulting and assisting with new and existing applications on application architecture issues and/or infrastructure issues. The candidate will also work with various departments to develop appropriate application architectures, resolve outstanding application architecture issues and develop a robust cross-platform component development methodology. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems. Eight to ten years' experience working with client server, mainframe, open systems and Internet technologies such as Oracle, DB2, CICS, IMS/TM, TXSeries, MQSeries, Java, COBOL, EJB, JavaScript, HTML and Web server technologies. Lead Systems Consultant Location: Pittsburgh A full-time Lead Systems Consultant position located in Pittsburgh responsible for providing consulting services and support related to project planning and project management utilizing Primavera Project Planner (P3) software. Primary duties will center on leading and participating in the development of P3 plans, training and mentoring users of the plans, administering the project time reporting process and the development and distribution of project status reports. This position will provide advanced project planning and project management tools and techniques to the staff. Candidates must have: strong leadership, analytical, planning, communication and consulting skills; be able to work independently and as part of a team; and must demonstrate strong customer relation skills, and a desire and ability to understand complex business, technical and planning issues. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems. Candidates must demonstrate a desire and aptitude to acquire knowledge, learn new skills and teach and mentor others. Candidates must have five plus years' experience in project planning and project management and extensive experience using Project Planning software (e.g., Primavera P3, Microsoft Project), as well as other PC application software. Knowledge of: project management life cycles, systems development life cycles, and rational unified process application development methodologies.
